10/07/02 Evening Sightseeing - A student pilot friend rode along while I flew around some points of interest. We looked at the Field of Dreams movie site and a corn maze, among other things. I flew for 1.2 hours and landed just after sunset.

10/09/02 Done with Instrument Lessons - Tonight I had my last instrument lesson with Steve and am now preparing for my instrument stage check. Once I pass the stage check, I will hopefully not need to review anything and will be ready for my checkride. I am a soon-to-be instrument rated pilot!

10/12/02 Oshkosh Dinner - I drove home for the weekend to attend the Pioneer Airport volunteer dinner at the Robbins Restaurant tonight. Good food, good friends!

10/22/02 Hoping for Good Weather - My final instrument stage check is scheduled for Thursday the 24th. Now, if only Mother Nature would cooperate! I haven't flown since the 9th.

10/24/02 Stage Check Cancelled - Bad weather forced the cancellation of my stage check. Meanwhile, I'll keep studying while I wait for it to be rescheduled.
