3/12/05 Yes, I CAN do it - I got a much-needed confidence boost today. I reviewed the same maneuvers that caused me trouble on my mock checkride. Everything went great! I feel better knowing that whatever went wrong last time was just bad luck. I'm ready to go back to the chief instructor and try again! This also happened to be my 300th hour of flight.
3/21/05 Mock CFI Checkride Completed - The second time was a charm. I finished the mock flight instructor checkride that my school requires, and now I can move on to the real thing. I did slow flight, four types of stalls, steep turns, a steep spiral, lazy eights, and two takeoffs and landings. |
