6/3/05 Transition Ahead - I found a good opportunity to work as a flight instructor close to home. I'll be leaving Dubuque in a few days. It will be strange to leave but I'm looking forward to the new job.
6/21/05 Working as a Flight Instructor - I've been working for Cavu Aviation in Green Bay as a flight instructor for a week now. I have gotten checked out in their airplanes and given three introductory lessons so far. I already picked up two new students and should have several more on the way. I'm flying Cessna 172s. Yesterday we relocated one of the 172s to our new satellite base at Brennand Airport (79C) in Neenah. I'm instructing out of both Neenah and Green Bay. It's been fun so far!
6/23/05 Joined the Civil Air Patrol - I joined the Shawano squadron of the Civil Air Patrol in order to provide flight instruction for CAP members in the area. I was invited to the meeting tonight.
6/28/05 500th Landing - I noticed that my running total number of landings was approaching 500, and today it hit that mark! |
