4/1/04 First Solo in the Trinidad - Yee hah! Full throttle in the Trinidad and no one else in the plane... 250 horsepower, a panel full of buttons and instruments, and I'm by myself. It's been a long time since I've had a first solo in anything. Today I flew the Trinidad by myself for the first time. I kept it simple. I cruised around for a while and came back in for a landing after 0.9 hours.

4/5/04 Second Trinidad Solo - I'm trying to build Trinidad time as quickly as possible in order to take passengers as soon as possible, and I'm also having a lot of fun flying it! Tonight I put in a lot of time - 2.8 hours - flying around, doing commercial maneuvers and landings. 4/6/04 Third Trinidad Solo - It feels good to fly three times in less than a week. I practiced commercial maneuvers for 0.8 hours in the Trinidad. 4/16/04 Ninth Trinidad Lesson - Kyle went up with me to see how I'm doing. He helped me do better lazy eights and chandelles. I did a good steep spiral. I logged 1.1 and we planned another dual lesson for more practice. 4/23/04 Tenth Trinidad Lesson - I'm just about dizzy with commercial maneuvers. Kyle flew with me again and I did all the maneuvers for an hour. Maybe I need to stop working on these things for a while, because one thing seems to be getting worse, not better: the lazy eight. I just can't get it perfect. I'm turned loose for more solo practice now, and I really need to nail that lazy eight! 4/28/04 My Last Day of Classes - My last college semester is almost over! I finished my last class today. Final exams are next week.
