*Photo by Tim Stephani* November 4, 2001 I was flying the Cessna 150 (N8927S) with my brother riding along. I arranged to have another 150 with two people aboard follow me. I gave them my camera and they took pictures of me flying 27S. You can't see me, but I'm in the plane in the picture! This was near Clintonville, Wisconsin.
The SR22's Sweet Suite
March 9, 2002 The Avidyne avionics suite in new Cirrus SR22s gives the pilot great situational awareness.
What's Wrong With This Picture?
June 22, 2003 In stark contrast to the avionics shown above in the Cirrus, these guages are not too reliable. Pilots will notice something wrong with this picture! My attitude indicator failed on a cross-country flight in a Cessna 172. It failed internally and didn't display the warning flag. This is how it looked for the rest of the flight. I was in visual conditions at the time so it didn't cause a problem.
