Lake Superior Cotton Candy

August 8, 2003
This was the second leg of my little adventure with the Cessna 150. I had already flown from Clintonville to Minocqua four days earlier. Today, I headed to the Duluth/Superior area. It was a rough ride below the clouds, so I coaxed the 150 up to 6,500 feet and enjoyed a smooth and scenic flight for an hour and a half.

My Favorite Thing

I took a school 172 out for a pleasure flight one night in Dubuque and headed west until I had clear sky above me. Then I climbed to 9,000 feet for a look down on the clouds I had been under.
