No One to Watch

This is bizarre. The EAA AirVenture grounds are still so wet today that almost no one can fly in. Normally I’d want to sit in my camp chair on the north end of the airport and watch planes land. But since I knew there’d be nothing to see there, and since the local sky wouldn’t be filled with Oshkosh-bound traffic, I spent this Sunday afternoon flying with a pair of students. We turned a flight lesson into a $100-hamburger run to Shawano.
